- in transit between the owners and officer of the society
- in the custody of the stamp societies official
- in circulation around members of the society by post or passed by hand
- in the custody of society members
Auction Cover
loss or damage caused by any accident or misfortune anywhere in the UK, including:
- in transit from the vendor to the Society anywhere in the world
- in the custody of the officer(s) of the Society within the UK
- in transit from the Society to the purchaser or vendor anywhere in the world

This option covers stamps and association philatelic items against loss or damage from the time the property is delivered to the organising officer(s) of the Society, whilst in their possession, whilst being judged, whilst on exhibition, whilst in the custody of the organising officer(s) of the Society until returned to owners, anywhere within the UK.
IMPORTANT
To obtain the full benefit from your insurance it is important that the sums insured are adequate at all times. If they are inadequate, then in the event of a claim the amount payable will be reduced in proportion to the degree of underinsurance. We do not Index link your sums insured at renewal, so it makes sense to review the sums insured regularly. If necessary, you should seek professional advice to ensure that the sums insured are correct.
