ABOUT US
Barry Horne started insuring collectables in 1973.
As a stamp collector, he has held various offices at Club, Specialist Society and Federation level, from Packet Secretary, Treasurer,
Editor to Chairman, so is able to both offer advice and tailor policies to Collectors needs.
The business was moved to Devon in the 1980's and is now based at 29 Bowhay Lane, Exeter, EX4 1PE.
To provide security and continuity we became a Limited company in 1999 but continued to use the trading name “Stamp Insurance Services”
with Lucy Ferrier and Barry Horne being the directors involved with the day to day running of the business.
We sponsor the “Festival of Cards” at Shepton Mallet and have organised both a Philatelic Congress and a National Stamp Exhibition
in the South West for the Association of British Philatelic Societies
